Children's Parties
HAVE YOUR BIRTHDAY PARTY AT THE AQUARENA!
The Works has many different pool party options to chose from. Parties can include the Tiny Tot pool, 15m shallow end, middle section or Twister Water Slide. Another pool option for children eight years or older is to bring the party to one of our public swims and rent a party room after the swim. Swim admission and slide costs are not included in the room rental. The Fish Bowl is next to the Tiny Tot pool in the Aquarena and large windows provide an excellent view of the pool. The Bubble room is located on the side mezzanine with a great view of the deep end of the pool. All party options can accommodate up to 30 people. Rates are based on a maximum of 30 people in the pool.
Party Rooms
Rooms will be available the same time as the pool space to allow for set-up and a place for you to leave gifts and supplies. Please do not leave the area unattended, as The Works is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Feel free to add a few party decorations to liven up the atmosphere! Please note that electrical equipment such as hot plates, microwaves and kettles can not be used in the facility.
Party Rates and Times
Party bookings should be placed well in advance as times fill very quickly. A non-refundable deposit must be paid upon booking. All prices are subject to HST. All birthday parties and room rentals are non-refundable. The Works does reserve the right to cancel advance bookings in the event of a program or schedule change. In this case, a full refund will be issued. For party rates and times or to book a party, please call the Aquarena Customer Service Center at 737-3799 or check with the Customer Service Desk located in the main lobby of the Aquarena. All party options can accommodate up to 30 children. For 31 people or more there is an extra $20.00 + HST charge.

Tim Horton's…Always fresh, fast and friendly!
With a Tim Horton's store located in the lobby of the Aquarena, pre-ordering delicious snacks for those hungry swimmers is quick and convenient. Donuts, timbits, cookies, muffins, drinks and other yummy treats are available for you to purchase for your party. Tim Horton's can also provide a party meal for an additional fee. Orders must be received a minimum of 3 days prior to the party date.
For Safety Reasons:
A lifeguard will be present to guard the pool and ensure the safety of those attending the pool portion of your party, but we require that children under 8 years of age be accompanied in the water by a responsible supervisor 15 years or older. Maximum 2 children per supervisor and the children must be within arms length of the supervisor at all times. No exceptions will be made to this policy as it is for the safety of your child and all children attending the party. The individual booking the party is responsible for advising those attending to this regulation and must ensure appropriate supervision is provided by parents/guardians.
