Memorial University's intramural program was established in the early 1960's with a small group of volunteer workers and has grown dramatically since this time. Presently the program is managed by The Works. The intramural program is under the direct management of the Manager of Fitness who hires Memorial University work term students to operate the day to day activities for intramurals. The Intramural program operates from September - April each year.
How Do I Participate?
Sport representatives are available for each residence house, Burtons' pond, and most faculties. The representatives will create teams and help ensure students can participate in the chosen activity. You can be submitted by: Being on a Faculty or Residence Team You can create your own team As an individual you can be placed on a team You can contact the Inturmal Office and we can assist you in finding more people. Who Can Participate Any full time student at Memorial or Marine Institute or any University faculty or staff member.

The Aquarena Pool, Aquarena Front Desk, Aquarena Fitness centre, Field House, MUN Pool and Tim Hortons will be closed on the day the Regatta goes ahead.
If the Regatta does not go ahead, the Aquarena Pool, Aquarena Front Desk, Aquarena Fitness centre, Field House and Tim Hortons will open at 9:00am.
Swimming Lessons will not go ahead on Wednesday August 5th, even if the Regatta is cancelled.
